Multiple Sensors and Effectors
Continuous pan
Naval, land and security forces operate in environments where early detection, clear communication and proportionate warning are essential.
SHERPA BF16 combines stabilized day and thermal observation, long-range directional voice communication, precision illumination and AI-assisted target tracking in a compact, modular platform. Its payloads share a stabilized line of sight, helping operators detect, assess and communicate with a target through one integrated system.
Configurations can be tailored from single- to multi-unit installations for shipboard, land and critical-infrastructure missions.
Proven capabilities for naval, lan and critical infrastructures scenarios.
Day and night maritime surveillance, vessel protection and threat de-escalation.
Continuous surveillance and protection of ports, harbours and restricted areas.
Long-range observation and situational awareness for land operations.
Detection and tracking of unmanned aerial systems.
Long-range observation and situational awareness for land operations.
Search & Rescue
Directional voice communication and illumination help people receive instructions over long distances.
Self -Defense
Disrupting targets with extremely loud sounds, high-power glaring laser light or high-power light.
Anti-Piracy
Warning approaching vessels or terrestrial vehicles to maintain distance or retreat from the ship, vehicle or infrastructure.
Modular Architecture for Tracking Intelligence Learing Decision and Awareness
MATILDA is the modular software suite powering SHERPA BF16's digital capabilities. Its five modules connect platform control and sensor data with AI-assisted processing, the operator workflow, system integration and command-and-control situational awareness.
Platform control
Manages platform control, actuator commands, telemetry and system health.
Local intelligence
Processes visual, thermal and rangefinder data locally to support target detection, acquisition, classification and continuous tracking.
Operator workflow
Brings tracks, cameras, payloads, safety states and recordings into the operator's workflow.
System integration
Connects SHERPA with selected external sensors, software interfaces and command systems, exchanging sensor data and georeferenced contacts. Interfaces depend on the project configuration.
Common operational picture
Presents map context and georeferenced contacts. Where data are available, it also shows contact classification, position and course history.
AI-assisted target tracking
Supports low-latency target acquisition, multi-target tracking, classification support and automatic alerts. The workflow connects detection, tracking, assessment, notification, operator authorization and recording.
Coordinated payloads
MATILDA can correlate the camera field of view, acoustic beam, searchlight and optional dazzler direction around the same stabilized target reference. The laser rangefinder remains part of the safety chain for optical warning functions, which require operator authorization.
